The 2024 Hospitality Technology Survey reveals that all participants—representing over 10,000 global properties across various market segments—plan to maintain or increase their technology budgets. Maestro PMS, a frontrunner in comprehensive cloud-based, and on-site management solutions for independent and luxury accommodations, anticipates significant investments in systems that seamlessly work with property management systems (PMS) to offer guests more tailored and effortless experiences while streamlining staff operations.

Warren Dehan, President of Maestro, shares that the industry is exploring innovative strategies to boost loyalty among guests and employees, emphasizing the role of mobile technologies. Features like mobile check-in/out, electronic key access, virtual concierge services, automated workflows, digital payments, and robotics are reshaping loyalty dynamics. Maestro PMS is at the forefront, refining its offerings to ease the guest experience and incentivize staff excellence, incorporating cutting-edge payment security, a newly developed AI-based booking engine, AI chatbot services, and robotic process automation, thereby elevating customer and employee loyalty to unprecedented levels.

The shift towards digital payment methods is changing guest interactions and transactions, moving towards integrated payment solutions within PMS, apps, and kiosks to offer frictionless payment experiences. This approach to embedded payments aims to cut out intermediary costs, streamline transactions with advanced terminals, ensure PCI compliance with added data breach protection, and offer direct support from Maestro, simplifying the payment process and enhancing competitive positioning in the market. Maestro is set to launch a new embedded payment system in Q2, designed to ease implementation and directly manage PCI compliance and support.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is set to transform hotel booking engines, improving personalization, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction. AI algorithms will provide custom recommendations by analyzing user behavior, booking history, and market trends, enhancing guest experiences and increasing hotel revenues. These algorithms will also dynamically adjust pricing based on market demand and competitor analysis, ensuring optimal profitability. Additionally, AI will enable predictive demand forecasting, improving resource allocation and inventory management. Maestro PMS’s upcoming AI chatbot and enhanced booking engine integration aim to streamline reservations, respond to inquiries in real-time, and offer personalized booking experiences, setting the stage for hotels to thrive in a competitive landscape.

Maestro PMS’s 2024 innovation roadmap includes new mobile tools for housekeeping to enhance staff experiences and loyalty, as well as updates to its digital gift card program, introducing customizable themes for holidays, promotions, or locations. These initiatives, alongside selling gift cards redeemable for hotel services, present a lucrative revenue opportunity without impacting service quality. These advancements will be showcased at the Maestro Accelerate User Conference, featuring key integration partners, underscoring Maestro’s commitment to driving innovation and loyalty in the hospitality sector.
