MAG & MATTA: propelling tourism to new heights

Today, Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) and the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) have cemented their enduring partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), extending MAG’s role as the official airline partner until 2025. This agreement aims to fortify the growth of the tourism industry.

As the official airline partner and primary sponsor of the upcoming MATTA Fair 2024, slated from March 22 to 24, MAG seeks to elevate its presence and allure within Malaysia’s largest international travel fair. Through a spectrum of offerings, MAG aims to enrich travel experiences for global adventurers, reinforcing Malaysia’s stature as a pivotal tourism hub and Asia’s gateway. This collaborative effort encompasses subsidiaries such as Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, AMAL, MASwings, Enrich, and Journify.

To enhance the significance of MATTA Fair events, a series of joint endeavors are set to unfold, bolstered by focused endeavors across MATTA State Chapters in key Malaysian regions. MAG’s support includes furnishing prize air tickets for the MATTA Fair Buyers Contest, extending exclusive fares to participating travel agents, and orchestrating cross-promotional activities across MAG platforms during the MATTA Fair.
