The delegates of Maharashtra Tourism enthusiastically took part in the India Mela at Kobe, arranged by the Indian Consulate in Osaka-Kobe, Japan, from 7th to 9th October this year. The group of Maharashtra
Tourism networked with the Indian Embassy in Kobe, meeting with Mr. Nikhilesh Giri, the Consule General of India at Osaka-Kobe. Maharashtra showcased its opulent inheritance and tradition with the help of a
booth space.

A cultural group from Maharashtra enthralled the spectators with Lavani, Kohli dance, local drama and
traditional presentations. This consumer-driven occasion lured more than 3,000 Japanese tourists,
generating extensive attention in Maharashtra as a major tourism place. The distribution of publicity
material additionally created curiosity, with a lot of visitors showing their interest to come to Maharashtra
quickly.

On 9th October, a planned discussion happened in Shirahama, where the Maharashtra Tourism group
spoke to Mr. Taniguchi, the Vice President of Wakayama wrestling association and local MLA of Shirahama. Dialogues happened around discovering the interchange of wrestlers between Wakayama and
