The Department of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra, made a remarkable and strategic impact at South Asia’s premier B2B travel and tourism exhibition, SATTE 2026, held from 25–27 February at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre), New Delhi.

Hosted by Informa Markets, the 32nd edition of SATTE united exhibitors and buyers from over 50 countries and 28 State Tourism Boards, creating an invaluable platform for destination promotion, expanding business opportunities, and fostering global networking.

The Maharashtra Pavilion was officially opened by the state’s tourism delegation, highlighting Maharashtra’s deliberate efforts to enhance its tourism footprint both domestically and internationally. The delegation was led by Shri Santosh Jadhav, Joint Director of the Directorate of Tourism; Shri Chandrashekhar Jaiswal, General Manager of Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC); and Shri Vijay Jadhav, Deputy Director (DoT). They were joined by key representatives from the hospitality sector, tour operators, heritage advocates, and destination management experts, who engaged in productive B2B meetings and strategic networking throughout the event.

The Pavilion featured dynamic LED audio-visual presentations and tailored business interactions, spotlighting Maharashtra’s diverse tourism offerings — from the iconic sea and hill forts of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to the stunning Konkan coastline, as well as wildlife circuits, pilgrimage sites, bustling urban centres, and burgeoning MICE opportunities.
