Man Arrested at Delhi Airport for Impersonating Singapore Airlines Pilot

A 24-year-old man from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, was apprehended at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) for allegedly impersonating a Singapore Airlines pilot, according to police reports from Friday.

On Thursday, officials noticed a man dressed in a Singapore Airlines uniform loitering in the Metro Skywalk area, as reported by PTI.

What did the investigation uncover?
The Deputy Commissioner of Police stated that the probe uncovered he had falsified the ID using an online application and had acquired the uniform accessories in Dwarka, New Delhi.

The investigation also revealed that in 2020, the man, identified only as Singh, had completed a one-year Aviation Hospitality course in Mumbai.

Indira Gandhi International Airport, named after the late former Prime Minister, ranks as the 10th busiest airport globally, according to a recent study.
