Margaritaville Beach Resort has officially opened its doors on Fort Myers Beach, marking a significant milestone for the community after the destructive impact of Hurricane Ian. The unveiling followed an exclusive locals-only weekend that celebrated the community’s resilience, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by dignitaries, community partners, and local residents. As of December 11, the resort is welcoming guests for stays, dining, and spa services.

Situated at 251 Crescent St. on a sprawling 7.25-acre property with direct beach access and stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico, the new Margaritaville Beach Resort boasts 254 guest rooms and six restaurants. Notable dining establishments include JWB Grill, License to Chill Bar & Grill, and 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill. All restaurants, along with the expansive 43,000-square-foot Sunset Terrace, are open to the public. The property also offers food and beverage service on the sandy beach, spanning 19,000 square feet overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Valet parking is available at a daily rate for both guests and the public.

Key features of the resort include casual-luxe accommodations with coastal-inspired décor, tropical dining options at six distinctive restaurants and bars, live entertainment, and the St. Somewhere Spa for complete relaxation. The Fins Up! Beach Club is set to open in mid-January, offering complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas for guests arriving before its official opening.
