Meetings Africa 2024 marks the 17th edition of this Business Events Trade Show, proudly owned by South African Tourism. Its primary aim is to establish a robust market access platform for African Business Events Products, nurturing the continent’s business events industry and fueling its economic prosperity.

This 2-day trade show includes a dedicated Educational Day, held in collaboration with key global, continental, and national industry associations.

Meetings Africa serves as a pivotal stage for exhibitors to showcase their offerings to both international and local buyers, African associations, and corporate planners. It stands as the premier platform for direct interaction with influential global buyers, facilitating Africa’s developmental strides.

Anticipated to feature over 350 exhibitors, 350 buyers, and more than 3,000 delegates from diverse international markets, Meetings Africa 2024 is scheduled from February 26–28, 2024, at the Sandton Convention Centre in South Africa. The conference aims to position Africa as a prime destination for business events and tourism, fostering collaborative growth.

In terms of economic impact, Meetings Africa 2023 injected approximately R388.5 million into the South African economy, while also creating or sustaining 753 jobs. The event holds the potential to deliver tangible economic benefits, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs), besides facilitating job creation and market access across the continent.
