Messina Hof stands out as the most celebrated Texas wine at both national and international levels. Nestled in a community rich with tradition, Messina Hof Winery & Resort boasts a 200-year legacy of producing prize-winning wines. Despite the winery’s official establishment in 1983 with its inaugural vintage, the deep-rooted wine heritage of Winemaker Paul Bonarrigo traces back six generations to Messina, Sicily, while Merrill Bonarrigo’s lineage hails from Hof, Germany. Together, they have been at the forefront of shaping the Texas wine scene, crafting distinguished premium wines and establishing a notable wine country destination.

The AmaCello, constructed in 2008, measures 360 feet in length and 38 feet in width. It houses 71 Staterooms and can accommodate up to 181 individuals – 140 guests and 41 crew members, ensuring a cozy and spacious cruising experience with ample opportunities for socialization and enjoyment.

Setting sail on March 20th from Dijon, France, and concluding on March 27th, 2025, in Lyon, France, the AmaWaterways Wine Cruise offers a splendid 7-day journey. It invites both new and seasoned wine enthusiasts to explore the Burgundy region’s vinicultural wonders. This river cruise features wine tastings amidst the breathtaking scenery of vineyards and historic sites along the Saône River, insights into time-honored winemaking techniques, and is hosted by an expert in the field.

Destinations include Dijon, Seurre, Chalon-sur-Saone, Tournus, Macon, and Lyon, ensuring a fresh adventure each day. The cruise enhances the wine heritage experience with an array of tastings, discussions, and tours in each port.
