Jordan welcomed 3.292 million visitors during the first half of 2025, representing an 18 percent increase compared with 2.786 million visitors recorded during the same period in 2024.

During the second quarter of 2025, Jordan recorded 1.784 million international visitors between April and June, showing a 23 percent increase compared with 1.452 million visitors during the same period in 2024.

Overnight tourism also showed positive growth. Jordan welcomed 2.717 million overnight visitors during January–June 2025, increasing by 14 percent compared with 2.375 million overnight visitors in the same period of 2024.

Same-day visits also increased significantly, reaching 575,000 visitors during the first half of 2025. This represented a 40 percent increase compared with 411,000 visitors during the same period the previous year.

Jordan Tourism Performance Shows Strong Revenue Growth

Tourism revenue continued to strengthen alongside visitor growth. According to official figures from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Jordan generated JD 2.167 billion in tourism revenue during the first five months of 2025.

The revenue figure represented a 16 percent increase compared with JD 1.873 billion recorded during the same period in 2024.

In May 2025 alone, tourism revenue reached JD 447 million, increasing by 18 percent compared with JD 380 million in May 2024.
