MGTO partners with Tourism expo Japan to encourage “tourism+”

Macao Government Tourism Office recently took part in the Tourism Expo Japan organized in Osaka from 26th Oct to 29th October, 2023. Branding diverse “tourism +” offerings of Macao in Japan at the biggest global travel fair, the Office wanted to draw Japanese visitors and make the most of the international markets with immense effort.

Intensive initiation to encourage Macao’s “tourism +”
Together with representatives of the hotels, travel agencies, airlines and local unified resort enterprises, MGTO participated in the Tourism Expo Japan 2023 in Osaka. To spotlight the vibrant scene of the city of “tourism +” and calendar of events, a Macao booth was set up, that helped in enhancing the appeal of the destination to potential visitors from Japan and expand the choices in terms of visitor markets. Also, the booth acted as a platform for MGTO and the industry delegates of Macao to meet with their counterparts internationally and specially Japan for interacting and navigation of partnership opportunities.

The biggest global travel fair in Japan
Tourism Expo Japan 2023 is planned by Japan Association of Travel Agents, Japan Travel and Tourism Association and Japan National Tourism Organization as the biggest and all-inclusive international travel fair in Japan.
