Miss Rory joins TUI Airways team at Newcastle Airport

Miss Rory swapped sequins and sparkles for cabin crew and pilot uniforms when she joined the TUI Airways team at Newcastle Airport this week whilst doing some filming.

Looking sensational in her TUI blue crew uniform, with flawless make up and trademark ‘high hair’ she helped colleagues, Emma Gailes, Luke Humpleby and Minnie Little at check-in, turning plenty of heads in the process.  Before joining First Officer, John Beevers in the cockpit of a Boeing 737 Max to try her hand at piloting.

The crew were delighted to welcome their new recruit and were impressed by her abilities.  Emma Gailes who’s been flying with TUI for 24 years, said: “It takes a lot of training to be a great crew member, but Miss Rory’s performance today got 5 stars from us. She’d definitely put a smile on customers’ faces and get people in the mood for their holidays.  If she ever gets tired of showbusiness there’s a place on the plane for her at TUI – although she might need to wear some different shoes”.

First Officer, John Beevers, gave her cockpit appearance a thumbs up too.  “Miss Rory was very comfortable taking charge and has obvious leadership skills which are critical to being a Captain.  And she certainly wasn’t afraid to take to the controls. We’d love to have her join the flight deck crew!”
