Morocco expects to surpass the tourism targets it had set for 2025, reaching 20 million tourist arrivals and over 120 billion dirhams in tourism receipts by the close of the year, beating the initial targets set for 2026. Tourism Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor said the country received 15 million visitors during the period ending September 2025, while foreign currency earnings stood at 87 billion dirhams by August, a rise of 14% in tourism arrivals and revenues compared to last year.
This growth trajectory reflects the efforts undertaken by Morocco in transforming itself into one of the premium destinations for leisure and business tourism.
