MSC World America Debuts ‘Cliffhanger’ – The First-Ever Over-Water Swing Ride at Sea, Now in Miami

MSC Cruises has unveiled its latest exhilarating attraction, Cliffhanger, today. Exclusive to MSC World America, set to launch in April 2025, this over-water swing ride promises an unmatched thrill for passengers. Perched atop the ship’s Family Aventura district, Cliffhanger boasts four seats initially positioned close to the deck, then lifted by powered arms to hang over the ship’s edge. Riders are then propelled back and forth, suspended 160 feet above the ocean, offering a breathtaking experience as they oscillate between sky and sea.

Named at PortMiami on April 9, 2025, MSC World America marks the newest U.S. flagship for MSC Cruises, featuring seven distinct districts tailored to various preferences and ages. Guests can embark on a journey of exploration, indulging in a spectrum of experiences throughout the ship’s inaugural season. Departing from Miami, the ship will offer 7-night itineraries to premier destinations in the Eastern and Western Caribbean, with stops at the serene Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas.
