MXO – Latest Mexican steakhouse to open in Los Angeles

The prominent lifestyle hospitality business sbe, that progresses, manages and functions top-notch hotels, cafeterias, lounges and nightclubs, is delighted to declare their latest gastronomic association with award-winning, two-time James Beard Foundation Award Runner-up, Chef Wes Avila and restaurateur Giancarlo Pagani with the inauguration of MXO. The Mexican impression is the newest restaurant to develop from sbe Chairman and CEO Sam Nazarian’s gastronomic incubator, Disruptive Restaurant Group, in association with Los Angeles-based HMFC Restaurant Group.

Scheduled to launch this year in Spring on La Cienega, MXO, which means ‘Mexican Origins,’ is a modern Mexican Steakhouse centered on wood-fire culinary at the core of the gastronomic epicenter of West Hollywood. Chef Avila is principally encouraged by his latest trips to Monterrey, where the lively gastronomic scene led to the formation of the MXO conception, all the while paying respect to his origins and Mexican gastronomic convention.

This is a state-of-the-art conception from Chef Wes Avila, who is an award-winning gastronomic icon in Los Angeles renowned for his appealing intermingling of regional California and Mexican fare. Chef Avila started his career with working terms in L’Auberge, Marché and Le Comptoir.
