Air Caraibes’ subsidiary, NavigAir, is poised to enhance its offerings by introducing additional services connecting Saint Lucia with various European nations, including France. This expansion follows the successful initiation of Air Caraibes’ TX510 flight from France to Fort-de-France, which facilitates connections to Saint Lucia via L’Express des Iles.

The newly announced flights are scheduled to operate on Thursdays and Sundays, bridging the gap between Saint Lucia and European destinations. The journey begins from Orly, Paris, to Martinique, complemented by a shuttle service transporting passengers from the airport to the seaport in Martinique. From there, passengers will embark on a ferry journey to Saint Lucia aboard L’Express Des Iles.

This comprehensive service, which consolidates the entire journey into a single fare, ensures that visitors can reach Saint Lucia on the same day. The aim of enhancing the service on this route is to simplify the travel experience for individuals journeying between French territories and Saint Lucia.

Specifically, flight TX511 is scheduled to leave Orly at noon, arriving in Fort-de-France, Martinique, by 3:55 pm. Subsequently, travelers will proceed to the ferry, scheduled to leave Fort-de-France at 10:15 pm, and reach the Castries Ferry Terminal in Saint Lucia by 11:45 pm.

On Sundays, the flight and ferry schedules mirror those of Thursday, with the only difference being an earlier ferry departure from Martinique at 7:15 pm, leading to an arrival in Saint Lucia at 8:45 pm.

NavigAir’s service expansion includes routes from Paris to St Martin, Dominica, and Guadeloupe, with the latest addition being the onward connections to Saint Lucia via Express des Iles.

Return flights from Saint Lucia to Paris, via Martinique, Dominica, and Guadeloupe, are scheduled on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This ensures a continuous loop of service, facilitating travel from Saint Lucia back to Paris with stops in Martinique, Dominica, and Guadeloupe for onward connections.

This extension of NavigAir’s services is anticipated to significantly influence local tourism in Saint Lucia by making the island more accessible to European travelers, particularly those from France. By offering a streamlined, all-in-one travel option, the initiative is expected to attract more visitors, thereby boosting the local tourism sector.

From the beginning of this service expansion to its ongoing operation, the increased accessibility and convenience are likely to enhance Saint Lucia’s appeal as a tourist destination, contributing positively to the island’s economy and its standing in the international tourism market.
