International travelers will now be able to travel easily to the Himalayan region without needing a pre-departure PCR test. They will just need to show their vaccination certificate.Keeping in mind the current situation in the country, the Covid-19 Crisis Management Coordination Centre (CCMC) of the Government of Nepal has recently decided to do away with the PCR test requirement for passengers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Nepal is watchfully moving ahead to recover its tourism sector with calculated action plans being formulated by the National Tourism Revival Committee, along with the public and private sector stakeholders of the tourism industry.
For sustainable growth of tourism in Nepal, the tourism revival committee will be advising the government under various segments, including policy improvements, publicity events, branding, infrastructure, marketing and promotion, service standardization, product expansion, among others.
