According to Montenegro’s Foreign Minister, Montenegro expects to lift the suspension of visa-free travel with Türkiye, which is projected to ease travel for citizens to one another and improve tourism for both countries in the coming 10 to 15 days. There was an initial disruption due to the suspension of visa travel, as there was an influx of travellers in the Montenegro’s Foreign Minister, in a joint press conference with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul in Podgorica, expressed travel restrictions for citizens of Türkiye to travel to Montenegro, adding that there are still no predetermined travel plans, but the suspension will be lifted in the following days to ease travel restrictions for Türkiye citizens to Montenegro in hopes of bolstering tourism for both countries.
