New Orleans 48th annual Holiday Home Tours unveiled

Excitement fills the air as the Historic Garden District of New Orleans proudly reveals the much-anticipated 48th Annual Holiday Home Tours, an adored tradition extending an invitation to both locals and visitors to revel in the enchanting ambiance of the festive season. Scheduled for December 9th and 10th, 2023, these tours present a unique opportunity to discover the meticulously adorned homes nestled within this iconic neighborhood.

From 10 am to 4 pm on both days, attendees can embark on a leisurely stroll through the captivating streets of the Garden District, gaining access to a curated selection of private residences, each adorned with its own distinctive style and festive embellishments.

Complementing the home tours, an exclusive Tour Boutique will be hosted at the Louise S. McGehee School, situated at 2343 Prytania Street. Operating from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on both days, the boutique will showcase an array of holiday-themed items and gifts, providing the perfect opportunity for attendees to carry a piece of New Orleans’ holiday charm home with them.

Karen Brem, Marketing Director of the Historic Mardi Gras Inn in the French Quarter, encourages all to embrace the festive spirit emanating from this event. “The Holiday Home Tours in the Garden District epitomize the festive ambiance and unique allure of New Orleans. Tickets for the 48th Annual Holiday Home Tours will be available online and at designated city locations. All proceeds from the event will contribute to the preservation and upkeep of the historic Garden District.
