Following eight months of revising travel understandings, the specialists at the Good
Housekeeping Institute titled New Orleans as a ‘must see city’ for 2024 retreats. New Orleans accomplished together with three other cities that were carefully assessed on characteristics like excellence, suitability, worth, sustainability and inclusivity among others.

This title comes from numerous travel testers who shared detailed response on facilities, family sociability, foodstuff, provision, well-being among other features. New Orleans is much more family-friendly than it is anticipated, particularly outside of Mardi Gras week.

Good Housekeeping recommends an ideal day with children in New Orleans begins at Café du Monde in City Park. That is followed by a walk to the Louisiana Children’s Museum and a study of the art museum’s free open-air sculpture garden. Among the must see are Audubon Aquarium and Insectarium with children and a stopover to artsy neighborhoods like Algiers Point. Good Housekeeping also suggests riding a trolley to the French Quarter for a jazz presentation at
Preservation Hall.

New Orleans does not only have lovely hotel chains, but also boutique housing choices in repurposed significant structures as a nice substitute. Among few distinct ones were the One11 Hotel, an ancient sugar-refining company, and the HI New Orleans Hotel that once happened to be a social club.
