New Orleans guest house unveils 10th luna fete, a spectacular festival of lights

Presented by Arts of New Orleans, this year’s event will illuminate the city from December 7-10, 2023, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, located at 900 Convention Center Blvd.

LUNA Fete 2023 promises an extraordinary experience, featuring a captivating fusion of illuminated costumes, couture, and stunning artwork from local and international artists. Expect a visually striking array of light-based sculptures, projections, and interactive installations, creating a festive atmosphere.

This year, the excitement extends across the Mississippi to Gretna with LUNA Fete West; River Connections. Simultaneously taking place at Gretna City Hall, this extension offers a unique and captivating experience for visitors on both sides of the river.

Festival highlights include fashion shows with illuminated couture, a vibrant silent disco, and a variety of local food vendors and bars. These elements weave together to form a rich tapestry of cultural and artistic expression, reflecting the spirit of New Orleans.
