New tourism abundance in the Tweed

This contemporary love story started with a gelato. It navigates the world from one of the mostwell-known tourist towns in Italy to a small hamlet in the Tweed Valley of northern NSW.

Carly, a Gold Coast girl went for a single backpacking escapade at the turn of the new millennium to Siena, for seeing a Tuscan penfriend that she had known when they were teenagers.

She heard about the ‘five lands’ ¬– the well-known Cinque Terre in the northwest. She then thought to visit the place.

That choiceproved to be life-changing.

Similar to many tourists, Carly couldn’t help butstop by a well-liked gelato shop located in one of the five towns.

There, Carly met the confident young Valentino Giannoni, who served at the counter at GelateriaVernazza.

Together, they found a new business and are ardent about what they bring to the business background.

United, they are modelling the attractiveness of the Tweed with brand-new interest.
