Those visiting Japan can now design their trips with fewer luggage, because of Japan Airlines (JAL) new
experimental program, ‘Any Wear, Anywhere’. The airline is currently offering travelers to rent attires
upon entrance, so that they are not required to bring along a weighty luggage. Travelers can borrow clothes based on size, color and season. The inventiveness started on July 5 th this year and will operate on a trial basis till August of next year.

Another objective of the airline is to decrease the aircraft’s weightiness, thus lessening the airline’s
carbon releases. The airline said that with increasing number of people flying once again after the pandemic and with the new importance on sustainability, there is a rising drive around the world for boosting sustainable tourism.

JAL also said that the idea of the service is to deliver a travel understanding with negligible baggage by
presenting outfit rentals at the destination, thereby delivering ecological worth.

According to the website of outfit hire service, the weight of travelers, baggage and load altogether add to the additional depletion of fuel. For each 10 kg of heaviness reduced on suitcases from flights between
New York and Tokyo, carbon releases can be lessened by 7.5 kg!
