Marrakech therefore grew slightly faster, with its 10 per cent increase placing the destination one percentage point above the national growth rate.

Morocco’s overall classified accommodation occupancy rate reached 56 per cent, one percentage point higher than a year earlier. Marrakech’s 72 per cent rate remained substantially above that national level.
