Nigeria’s Digital Passport to Revolutionize Tourist Travel and Border Access

Nigeria announced on November 1, 2025, the launch of Emergency Travel Documents (ETD) that can be generated via smartphones, enabling Nigerians, as well as tourists, to enhance modern travel. This mobile application, designed for travellers will be debuted for use in January 2026, allowing users to issue ETDs from their offered mobile applications.
