Noida International Airport Partners with Bird Group for Enhanced Ground-Handling Services

Noida International Airport has signed a concession agreement with the Bird Group to provide ground-handling services, ensuring effective and smooth operations that will improve the overall experience for passengers. The Bird Group, renowned for its top-notch ground-handling services and extensive experience across 21 Indian airports, will handle a broad range of responsibilities under this new partnership, from welcoming passengers to managing baggage and ramp operations efficiently.

As part of its commitment to enhancing the traveler’s experience, the Bird Group will implement a full spectrum of services designed to ensure operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction. Furthermore, aligning with the airport’s goal to achieve net zero carbon emissions, the Bird Group will utilize electric-powered ground service equipment (GSE), significantly reducing the airport’s carbon footprint and advancing sustainable practices.

Noida International Airport is designed to blend Indian warmth and hospitality with Swiss precision and efficiency, creating a state-of-the-art, user-friendly facility inspired by India’s rich heritage. Initially, the airport will include one runway and one terminal, designed to accommodate 12 million passengers annually. Once all four phases of development are complete, the airport will have the capacity to serve 70 million passengers each year.
