Norse Atlantic Airways showcased a significant operational improvement in February, registering a 72% load factor, which marks a remarkable year-on-year increase of 22 percentage points. This growth is indicative of the airline’s strategic agility and adept response to market demands, particularly highlighted by the adjustment in winter capacity that contributed to this strong performance.

Throughout February, Norse Atlantic Airways operated a total of 225 flights, carrying 50,694 passengers. This operation included 30 charter flights, underscoring the expansion of the airline’s charter operations. Impressively, 82% of these flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival times, showcasing the airline’s commitment to punctuality. Additionally, Norse achieved a 100% completion rate for its flights, ensuring reliability and trustworthiness among passengers.

Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and Founder of Norse Atlantic Airways, highlighted the airline’s flexibility and swift adaptability as key drivers of its success. The forthcoming initiation of ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) operations with Air Peace in April, including the launch of a new flight route between Lagos, Nigeria, and London, exemplifies Norse’s expansion and diversification strategy. Larsen also expressed satisfaction with February’s record-breaking average daily bookings and the relaunch of the airline’s website, flynorse.com, aimed at enhancing the customer experience.

Norse Atlantic Airways, established in March 2021 by CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen, has rapidly emerged as a competitive provider of affordable long-haul flights. The airline’s fleet consists of 15 modern, fuel-efficient Boeing 787 Dreamliners, servicing destinations across Europe and the United States, including major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Orlando, and European hubs like Oslo, Athens, and Paris. The company’s inaugural flight from Oslo to New York in June 2022 marked the beginning of its mission to offer cost-effective, long-distance travel, emphasizing Norse’s contribution to making international travel more accessible.
