Now Kerala in India has largest number of five-star properties

After experiencing two years of inflicted slump due to pandemic, the tourism Kerala has recuperated with a new emblem of accomplishment: at present, Kerala has the highest number of five-star properties in India.

As per the countrywide record on hotel accommodation units organized by Maps of India, at present, Kerala tops the chart with 46 five-star hotels, surpassing Maharashtra, one of the leading tourism players in India, which has 40 five-star hotels.

The observers of the industry say that the state is occupying the top spot in the segment of luxury hotels and also points to the best image that the state has cautiously fostered for the industry in the last three decades.

At present, Kerala is anticipated to perk up its already recognized grip in the tourism market with the major number of properties with five-star.

PB Nooh reacting to the achievement, the tourism director of Kerala said that the state has been a leader in tourism advertising in the last three to four decades. What is to be recognized in terms of recent success is that it’s due to combined efforts by the private sector and state government.

As the government plays the main role in growing infrastructure and facilities, private players have set up fresh tourism offerings.
