The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), the foremost champion for parks and recreation nationwide, is thrilled to unveil the upcoming venues for the 2026, 2027, and 2028 NRPA Annual Conference.
In 2026, the NRPA Annual Conference will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following that, in 2027, Salt Lake City, Utah will host the event. And finally, in 2028, Columbus, Ohio will be the chosen location.
For over half a century, the NRPA Annual Conference has stood as the paramount yearly gathering of the park and recreation community. Drawing together over 8,000 park and recreation professionals, academics, students, advocates, and industry suppliers across three days, the conference offers a platform for educational sessions, poster presentations, networking opportunities, and a preview of the latest industry products and services.
“We are thrilled to bring future NRPA Annual Conferences to Philadelphia, Salt Lake City and Columbus so the park and recreation community can explore, network and learn each of these places,” said Kristine Stratton, NRPA president and CEO. “Each of these cities has been such a pleasure to work with during site selection, and we are looking forward to ensuring every attendee thoroughly enjoys and experiences all the great things these places have to offer. We are so grateful for their support and partnership in hosting the largest gathering of the park and recreation community in the country!”
The NRPA Annual Conference for 2024 is scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by the 2025 conference set to be held in Orlando, Florida.
