The flight schedule is as follows:

Craig Simon, Interim Director of Aviation for the Port of Oakland, expressed a warm welcome, saying, “Oakland International Airport welcomes Avianca Airlines to the East Bay! This new seasonal international service for the holidays makes it more convenient than ever to fly between the Bay Area and El Salvador. We are especially pleased that this flight will offer affordable options for those visiting friends or relatives during the holiday season and into the new year.”

Established in 1919 as the flag carrier for Colombia, Avianca S.A. bears the Spanish acronym for “Aerovias del Continente Americano S.A.,” which translates to “Airways of the American Continent.” It is the oldest airline in the Americas and ranks as the second-largest carrier in the Latin American region, serving more destinations than any other airline. The airline’s global headquarters are located in Bogota, Colombia, and it maintains major hubs in Bogota and San Salvador. In addition to strengthening connectivity within the Latin community, Avianca also aims to promote tourism in the Central American region.
