Officials: One should not miss anything in Sri Lanka; fast recovery after the attacks

Mr.Alexi Gunasekera,  Minister ( Commercial), Embassy of Sri Lanka and Mr.Chinthaka Liyanaarachchi, Assistant Director-Marketing spoke exclusively with Travel And Tour World during the 7th edition of Chengdu International Tourism Expo (CITE) at the Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

 

 

They shared at length how Sri Lanka has bounced back from crisis after the Easter Sunday Attack and have the potential to emerge from it greater than before. The government is effectively addressing the crisis, enhanced their responsiveness to attacks and stepped up security considerably in the island nation. Hotel and tour operators are back to business and the tourism industry is reviving.  The MICE industry in Sri Lanka has immense scope and is a preffered by many,  gastrodiplomacy  and new connectivity is attracting a good number of tourists.
