Omni Hotels & Resorts is delighted to welcome Trip Riggs as the newly appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO), under the leadership of President Kurt Alexander. In his new role, Riggs will be responsible for managing the finance and accounting departments, and will be crucial in steering the company’s growth and performance as part of the executive leadership team.
Regarding the appointment, Kurt Alexander shared: “Trip has a demonstrated track record of leading high performing teams that support the business in generating best in class returns. We are excited to have him on the team, and we believe his expertise will allow Omni to further strengthen our unique owner-operator-brand position in the industry.”
Before joining Omni Hotels & Resorts, Riggs was the Co-President and Chief Financial Officer at Balfour Senior Living in Louisville, Colorado, where he was in charge of the company’s financial strategy and the expansion of its development projects. Riggs brings a wealth of experience from his previous positions, including being a divisional CFO for hospitality and real estate at Vail Resorts, as well as roles in development and portfolio management at Stonebridge Companies.
Riggs is an alumnus of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, earning a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management with a concentration in real estate development, finance, and accounting. His dedication to community service is evident through his decade-long involvement with the Colorado Outward Bound School, including serving as its chairman, showcasing his commitment to leadership and philanthropy.
Riggs’ appointment is a significant milestone for Omni Hotels & Resorts, which prides itself on offering unparalleled guest experiences across its extensive network of over fifty unique hotels and resorts in North America.
