Omni’s Loyalty Revamp: Beyond The Room in official relaunch

Omni Hotels & Resorts has revamped its Select Guest Loyalty Program to acknowledge members throughout their entire stay. The program aims to reward guests for all their experiences at the property, be it dining at any on-site restaurant, engaging in golf activities, or indulging in spa treatments. The enhanced program emphasizes recognition and rewards based on guest spending, making it easier than ever to attain elevated status for exclusive privileges and accumulate points towards complimentary nights.

“Amidst a landscape where many loyalty programs are reducing benefits, we’re genuinely adding value to our Member experience,” says Josh Belkin, Vice President of Loyalty & Customer Engagement at Omni Hotels & Resorts. “The goal is to inspire our guests to explore more destinations and engage in more unique activities while staying at our properties, in turn creating a truly immersive experience that goes beyond traditional hospitality. We call it ‘Rewards Beyond The Room.”
The enhancements to the Select Guest program build on the existing rewards and benefits, introducing revamped membership levels: Member, Insider, Champion, and Icon Status. Each tier comes with increased recognition and special amenities.

All Select Guest Members enjoy access to a welcome drink, Wi-Fi, and on-property Loyalty Ambassadors who assist in planning the stay and provide personalized service. Higher-status Members unlock additional perks such as morning beverage delivery, complimentary room upgrades, early check-in, late check-out, and in-room beverages tailored to guest preferences. Champions and Icons earn Omni Credits at twice the rate per night, accelerating the accumulation of Free Night rewards. Icon Status, the top tier, offers chef-created amenities upon arrival, two-category room upgrades, unlimited complimentary pressing and shoe shining services, the ability to gift Select Guest Champion Status, and more.

Select Guest Status is determined by a guest’s cumulative Tier Dollars earned within a calendar year, covering charges like room rates, food and beverage, spa, golf, retail, and recreation billed to the room.

Unlike other loyalty programs, reaching higher status levels is achievable even after just one stay. For example, Insider Status requires $1,000 in annual spending, making it attainable after a weekend stay with some on-property dining, spa, or golf. In many cases, guests can attain upper-level Champion or Icon Status after just a few stays, while achieving top-tier status and its associated benefits typically requires 50+ nights stayed in competitor programs.
Belkin further adds: “We’ve given our Select Guests a faster path to achieve not only elevated Status but Free Nights. There’s never been a better time to be an Omni Select Guest Member.”

For each night spent at an Omni Hotel or Resort, guests accumulate a minimum of 5 Omni Credits. Additionally, every $100 spent beyond the room charge, billed to the room, earns a minimum of 1 Omni Credit. Select Guests holding Champion and Icon Status enjoy an expedited accrual of Omni Credits. A mere 100 Omni Credits are all it takes to unlock a complimentary night at any of Omni’s 50+ destinations.
