In India, as the situation related to Covid-19 has become somewhat unwavering, the travel industry is slowly developing all over the country. At present, the good news in the post-pandemic world is that a luxury cruise ship from Mumbai, Cordelia Cruises, has ultimately reached on September 22nd at the shores of Kochi. It marked the reopening of the coronavirus-hit tourism in the Southern state.

The luxury liner MV Empress had 1,200 travelers on board, coming from different states in India. The on-shore tour will help travelers discover Kochi’s exquisiteness along with its exotic beaches and centers of rich cultural and historical significance.

Kerala Tourism Minister P A Mohamed Riyas explained that the reappearance of domestic tourists marks a hopeful kick-start to the full-scale recommencement of Kerala Tourism, conquering the nassive global crisis.

At the Cochin Port, the luxury line anchored. It was received by locals with immense enthusiasm. The tourists were then taken to Mattancherry and Fort Kochi.

To quote the minister, “This trend is set to gain pace in the coming days. Kerala is a safe and secure place for the lock-down weary vacationers to come as we have put in place an efficient and meticulous bio-bubble model to create protective layers of inoculated service providers to receive and host tourists.”
