Pro-invest Group, a prominent private equity real estate asset manager and investment firm, has chosen Oracle OPERA Cloud Property Management System (PMS) to streamline operations across its properties. The decision was driven by Pro-invest’s goal to unify its data and operations by replacing multiple PMS systems with a single platform capable of accommodating various types of hotels, from smaller independents to major global brands. By adopting OPERA Cloud, Pro-invest aims to support its ambitious growth plans and improve service delivery to meet the changing demands of guests across all market segments.

“We wanted a technology partner with a global track record of success. One that worked in the eco-system with other large brand partners of ours and could enhance our operational capabilities with a guest-focused hospitality experience,” said Howard Phung, director of digital, data, and technology at Pro-invest Group. “With Oracle we will be able to centralize our hotel and guest data into a single view, removing duplication and inefficiencies that were created previously by our different PMS solutions. OPERA Cloud will also help us contribute to our broader goal of industry innovation with its continuous upgrades and extensive list of strategic partners and third-party integrations.”

Pro-invest, as a franchise partner for some of the world’s largest hotel brands and the owner of its own hotel brands, conducted a thorough competitive analysis. After careful consideration, they selected OPERA Cloud due to its strong security features, proven global scalability, and compatibility with their central architecture. OPERA Cloud met the criteria necessary to realize Pro-invest’s vision of a seamless guest experience powered by cloud technology, supported by a wide range of validated integrations available through the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP).

After a successful trial at The Sebel Canberra Campbell, Pro-invest has implemented Oracle OPERA Cloud at three additional locations: Sage James Street, Sage Wollongong, and Country Comfort Perth. Their objective is to have the majority of their hotels, operated under both the Pro-invest Group and their joint venture Vista Hospitality Group, transitioned to OPERA Cloud by mid-2025.

“Pro-invest shares our passion for delivering technology that will not only help their individual properties perform better, but to set an industry standard of innovation that transforms the way people work and elevates the guest experience,” said Alex Alt, executive vice president and general manager, Oracle Hospitality and Retail. “It’s been great to partner with them to create a strategy to systematically modernize their properties with a comprehensive, secure cloud platform that allows them to take the complexity out of better manage their data and operations.”
