World-renowned experts to lead Seabourn’s ultra-luxury expeditions

Seabourn, a leader in ultra-luxury voyages and expedition travel, extends an exclusive invitation to guests for unparalleled adventures with its distinguished Expedition Teams aboard the Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit – purpose-built, ultra-luxury expedition ships. These teams, comprised of passionate and renowned experts spanning diverse fields such as geology, wildlife biology, volcanology, ornithology, and conservation, will spearhead extraordinary expeditions to Antarctica from November 2023 to March 2024.

Natalya Leahy, President of Seabourn, expressed the meticulous effort invested in assembling an elite team, emphasizing their exceptional backgrounds, ranging from top expedition canoeists to BBC series stars and former Royal Navy servicemen. The objective was to curate unforgettable experiences, and these experts play a pivotal role in bringing unique destinations to life. Interactions with guests, be it through guided tours, onboard lectures, or casual conversations during meals, are integral to the distinctive charm of Seabourn’s expeditions.

The Expedition Teams on Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit will orchestrate meticulously planned adventures, offering myriad opportunities to witness wildlife and marvel at natural wonders. Activities include Zodiac cruising, kayaking, hiking, and even submarine exploration using the custom-built U-Boat Worx Cruise Sub 7 submarines capable of descending up to 300 meters.

Beyond leading expedition experiences, the teams will engage regularly with guests, sharing insights on the history, ecology, and culture of the regions visited. Their expertise will be showcased in formal presentations and informal discussions throughout the voyage, enriching the overall expedition experience.
