OYO’s New Accelerator Program Launched In Partnership With Goa Tourism

OYO has joined forces with the Goa Tourism Department to introduce an Accelerator Program designed to empower small-scale and first-generation hotel owners, helping them grow their businesses throughout the state. This initiative aims to onboard more than 300 properties, create over 5,000 job opportunities, and offer financial assistance, mentorship, and access to OYO’s vast network. The program focuses on fostering sustainable tourism development in Goa while boosting the local hospitality sector.

Goa’s Tourism Minister, Shri Rohan A Khaunte, unveiled OYO’s Accelerator Program, a transformative initiative designed to help small-scale and first-generation hoteliers grow their businesses across the state. This program not only focuses on business expansion but also aims to create employment opportunities and promote sustainable tourism in Goa.

The launch event, held in Panaji, saw Minister Khaunte officially introduce the program in collaboration with the Goa Tourism Department. During the ceremony, he awarded cheques totaling INR 25 lakhs to five selected beneficiaries, including hoteliers from Panjim, Calangute, and Madgaon, marking a significant step toward empowering the local hospitality industry.

OYO, through this partnership, plans to add over 300 properties across North, Central, and South Goa within the next year, generating more than 5,000 job opportunities across the state. The Accelerator Program is specifically designed to support first-time hoteliers by offering mentorship, financial aid, and access to OYO’s extensive network, which includes over 15,000 corporate clients and 10,000 travel agents. Moreover, the program provides advanced pricing tools to help businesses enhance profitability while expanding their customer reach.

Participants of the Accelerator Program have expressed their appreciation for the initiative, highlighting how it equips them with essential resources for achieving sustainable business growth. The program allows them to concentrate on improving guest experiences while benefiting from OYO’s industry knowledge and support.
