PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts introduces an innovative brand experience encouraging guests to venture beyond conventional travel guides and immerse themselves in the culturally vibrant neighborhoods surrounding its properties. Branded as ‘All Things Local,’ these experiences showcase PARKROYAL’s network of properties as gateways to lively destinations, spanning from Singapore and Malaysia to Japan and Australia, and beyond.

Ms. Cinn Tan, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer at Pan Pacific Hotels Group, emphasized the enduring value of local crafts and cuisine in today’s context. Positioned as a portal to dynamic locales, PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts invites guests to actively participate in preserving cultures by exploring local narratives, engaging in activities that reveal indigenous art, and supporting local enterprises. The aim of this brand experience is to offer guests authentic, immersive, and unique ways to connect with people and places during their stay with PARKROYAL.

The inaugural phase of this initiative features PARKROYAL’s All Things Local stay packages at PARKROYAL on Beach Road, Singapore. These packages curate a thoughtful blend of hands-on and interactive experiences for guests. Activities range from culinary explorations delving into the destination’s rich heritage to artisan workshops led by local entrepreneurs. Nestled in the historic and lively precinct of Kampong Gelam, the hotel provides a unique backdrop for exploration. While renowned for its striking street art, heritage businesses, and Malay traditions, it’s also home to Haji Lane, the narrowest street in Singapore. Guests selecting these packages can opt for stays that include a ketupat/bazhang leather crafting workshop or an intimate visit to the home of local kueh mould collector Jasmine Adams.

Available from October 6, 2023, to April 6, 2024, PARKROYAL on Beach Road’s All Things Local stay packages start at S$380++* and encompass a 2D1N room stay with one chosen activity for two individuals. These activities are offered in collaboration with local curator Culturally, facilitating access to rare and immersive experiences in the destination.
