Launching a fresh initiative in their culinary series aimed at children, the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia now offers a delightful pastry decorating workshop, open to guests aged five and above. This engaging activity invites young guests and budding pastry chefs to dive into the art of seasonal pastry decoration, choosing between cookies, their own personal cake, or a set of cupcakes for their artistic endeavors. Participants will be gifted a custom apron and chef’s hat to enhance their experience, while families can savor complimentary hot chocolate or lemonade. Additionally, there is an option to enrich the experience with a lunch upgrade from the Hotel’s In-Room Dining service.

Executive Pastry Chef Danielle Seipp expresses excitement about the initiative: “Witnessing the enthusiasm of our young guests as they delve into the pastry world is incredibly fulfilling. This activity not only entertains but also introduces children to the craft of pastry making, sparking their imagination and creating unforgettable family moments.”

The activity takes place in the Jean-Georges Philadelphia setting. Each young chef can choose from a selection that includes eight sugar cookies, a personal six-inch cake, or six cupcakes. The creations feature vanilla sugar cookies with colorful royal icing, a vanilla cake with creamy vanilla buttercream, and a mix of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes adorned with buttercream in various colors. Seasonal ingredients and flavors will be introduced throughout the year to mark different holidays and celebrations, ensuring a unique experience each time.
