A new Strategic Partnership agreement was announced between Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and Mastercard, a technology company in the global payments industry.
A digital transformation is expected across the region through this agreement.
PATA CEO Mario Hardy mentioned that technological innovation were impacting business and it is important for organizations to have a comprehensive understanding of the current developments.
The new partnership will see members leveraging the expertise, insights and experience Mastercard to remain competitive in the ever –evolving industry.
Diana Robino, senior vice president, global tourism partnerships, Mastercard, stated that Mastercard intends to bring public, private and institutional partners together for inclusive tourism.
He was looking forward to work with The Pacific Asia Travel Association and its members and reap benefits from the collaboration.
