Downtown Phoenix anticipates The Spirits of Mexico Culture & Tourism Fest this weekend, aiming to immerse attendees in the rich culture, flavors, and traditions of Chihuahua, the northern Mexico state. The event promotes sustainable international tourism and unfolds at Heritage Square, near Seventh and Monroe streets, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Secure your advance tickets online, with a VIP experience priced at $45 per day, offering a shot glass, 10 spirit sample tickets, and the chance to enroll in a complimentary cooking class. General admission for non-drinkers is $25, while kids 12 and under enjoy free entry.
Sample tickets allow tastings of agave-based spirits like tequila, mezcal, and sotol, with food available for separate purchase. Presented by Imex Live Events, the festival features live mariachi and ballet folklórico performances and showcases fine art from Mata Ortiz Pottery.
