Through its participation, Goa reinforced its vision of moving beyond traditional beach tourism and establishing itself as a diverse, sustainable and all-season destination offering unique experiences for domestic and international travellers.

Speaking on the occasion, Honorable Minister for Tourism, Government of
Goa, Shri Rohan A. Khaunte, said: “We are grateful to the people of Gujarat
for their continued love and trust in Goa as one of their preferred travel
destinations. Gujarat remains a key source market for us, and Ahmadabad provides an important platform to strengthen partnerships with
the travel trade while exploring new avenues of collaboration, including
cultural and spiritual tourism. Alongside our globally recognised beaches, Goa
today offers avenues for world-class destination weddings, immersive spiritual
circuits such as the Ekadasha Teertha Yatra, vibrant hinterland experiences
and community-led tourism initiatives that encourage visitors to discover a
deeper side of the state. Going forward, enhanced air connectivity between
Gujarat and Goa will play a pivotal role in unlocking greater tourism potential
and creating wider economic opportunities for both regions.”

A key focus of Goa’s participation at this year’s exhibition was the promotion of destination weddings and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) tourism. The state highlighted its world-class hospitality ecosystem, featuring luxury resorts, premium accommodation options, heritage properties, advanced convention facilities and excellent air connectivity through Manohar International Airport and Goa International Airport.

Goa is strengthening its position as a diverse travel destination by moving beyond its traditional beach tourism image and promoting a wider range of experiences for domestic and international visitors. At the recent tourism exhibition, the state highlighted its growing focus on spiritual tourism, wellness retreats, culinary journeys and adventure experiences designed to attract travellers seeking meaningful and immersive holidays.

A major attraction showcased by Goa Tourism was the newly launched Ekadasha Teertha Yatra, a unique spiritual tourism circuit connecting eleven ancient temples across the state. The initiative aims to introduce visitors to Goa’s rich cultural heritage, religious traditions and historical landmarks while creating a structured travel experience for pilgrims and heritage enthusiasts. Through this circuit, travellers can explore the lesser-known spiritual side of Goa and discover destinations beyond the state’s popular coastal attractions.

Along with spiritual offerings, Goa presented its expanding wellness tourism sector, which includes rejuvenation retreats, holistic experiences and nature-based escapes. The state also promoted its culinary tourism potential, highlighting local flavours, traditional cuisine and unique dining experiences that add greater depth to the visitor journey. Adventure tourism activities were another key focus, encouraging travellers to explore Goa’s natural landscapes through outdoor and experiential activities.

During the exhibition, Goa Tourism officials and industry representatives participated in a series of business meetings, buyer-seller interactions and networking sessions. These engagements focused on creating new partnerships, improving market connections and promoting Goa’s wide range of tourism products among travel professionals from different regions.

Goa’s participation at TTF Ahmadabad reflects the state’s long-term strategy to diversify its tourism economy, encourage visitors to stay longer and develop sustainable travel models. By promoting responsible and regenerative tourism practices, Goa aims to create lasting economic opportunities for local communities while preserving its cultural, natural and environmental heritage for future generations.
