P&O Cruises Australia has recently decided to cancel all sailings until at least June 18. The cruise line mentioned that guests with bookings affected by the pause extension are being given as much notice as possible to provide them with greater certainty around their holiday plans.
The cruise line said it would contact guests whose cruises have been affected, either directly or via their appointed travel agent, to let them know of the pause extension and the options available to them. The company mentioned that it remained optimistic over the ultimate restart of cruising.
Sture Myrmell, President, P&O Cruises Australia stated while there is an increasing confidence about the restart of cruising in Australia, the cruise line is also continuing with the realistic and pragmatic approach that they have adopted previously. It was mentioned that the company is aware with its contact with guests and through social media channels that they cannot wait to be cruising again and similarly, the crew cannot wait to be delivering exceptional cruise holiday experiences again.
