P&O Cruises witnesses record-breaking booking frenzy as Wave Season commences

P&O Cruises has experienced its most successful January to date, achieving an all-time high in sales volume for the month. The Caribbean, Norwegian fjords, and Atlantic Islands emerged as the top choices among travelers, with the P&O Cruises Iona attracting the most attention. Furthermore, the company has noted an increase in the average lead time for bookings during this time frame.

P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said: “The beginning of this year’s Wave has once again surpassed all expectations with record-breaking sales indicating a renewed confidence in the holiday market and the excellent value for money that you get with a P&O Cruises holiday. We entered 2024 better booked so we have less reliance on the lates market which is better for us and better for agents in terms of earnings potential.”

During the Wave season, which continues until early March, agents have the opportunity to boost their sales and take advantage of P&O Cruises’ ongoing booking promotions. Customers who book a qualifying Select Price or Early Saver P&O Cruises vacation with a 10% deposit by March 4, 2024, will receive a 20% discount on a Classic drinks package (this offer does not apply to inside cabins on cruises shorter than seven nights). Moreover, additional spots for children are now available for summer 2024 vacations on the Arvia and Iona.
