Primo Cup Monaco Commemorates Four Sailing Categories This Year at Yacht Club

The first significant event of global important organized under the presidency of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, the 40th edition of the Primo Cup-Trophée UBS, comes to a conclusion at the Yacht Club de Monaco. The event’s anniversary edition has drawn around 90 teams adding up to 400 sailors divided all over the Smeralda 888, J/70, Longtze Premier and Cape 31 classes.

For the, it was a special edition. After 40 years they’re still here welcoming European competitors. When it comes to testing new boats and novel technology for the sailing, Monaco is always the best place and they’re very proud of this fact and that this occurs under the sunshade of the ‘Monaco Capital of Advanced Yachting,” says Bernard d’Alessandri, YCM General Secretary, giving a slight perception on what is trending next at the Club. Bernard says that he takes this as an opportunity to emphasize the Yachting Day including the Explorer Awards.

During the Ocean Week, it’ll be here and they’ll be happy to receive many Explorers. For this opportunity, they’ll have 8 boats and 200 guests, comprising a delegation of the Explorers Club from New York, which is great for the people that have desire for innovation and sea.
