Princess Cruises, renowned as the epitome of luxury voyages, and Brightline, the high-speed intercity rail service linking travelers to premier destinations and major events across Central and South Florida, have united to unveil the groundbreaking Rail & Sail initiative. This pioneering program ensures travelers seamless and expedited access to Princess cruise vessels departing from two sought-after Florida embarkation points: Fort Lauderdale and Orlando (Port Canaveral).
With Rail & Sail, travelers experience a seamless journey in opulent comfort, reaching their chosen homeport in significantly reduced time compared to conventional travel methods.
The announcement unveiled a specially designed train featuring four custom cars adorned with Princess’ iconic Love Boat branding, showcasing the signature seawitch logo and picturesque depictions of beloved ports of call. Furthermore, Princess’ branding will grace Brightline’s five terminals across Florida.
In addition, a value-added luggage express service was introduced, providing guests with ultimate convenience by allowing them to check their bags at their Brightline station, which will then be securely awaiting them in their stateroom upon arrival at the ship.
Moreover, Princess guests can avail themselves of exclusive discounts of up to 15% when booking Smart and Premium Rail & Sail packages through Brightline’s website. For a limited time, those booking a Princess cruise by May 5 will receive a Brightline credit of up to $150 per person for its signature Smart and Premium class service, based on stateroom type.

Princess guests will enjoy exclusive access to Brightline’s comprehensive schedule, featuring convenient daily train services, totaling 16 round-trip journeys between Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. These options include:
South Floridians can also take advantage of Brightline’s services from its downtown Miami and Aventura terminals, offering convenient stops in both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.
To ensure seamless travel, Princess will additionally offer guests complimentary motorcoach transportation between Brightline’s Orlando and Fort Lauderdale stations and their respective embarkation terminals.

Introducing our new hassle-free luggage express service, where guests can conveniently check their bags upon arrival at their Brightline station. Rest assured, your luggage will be seamlessly delivered to your stateroom, saving you precious time and effort, and ensuring a smooth cruise experience. The service is priced at $35 per bag. Initially available on Orlando-to-Fort Lauderdale trains, plans are underway to extend this service to Fort Lauderdale-to-Orlando trains in anticipation of Caribbean Princess’ arrival and homeport at Port Canaveral in November.

Port Canaveral: Commencing November 27, 2024, Caribbean Princess will herald the start of Love Boat cruises from Port Canaveral, embarking on a series of captivating four- to 14-day voyages.
