In hospitality, tourism, and wellness sectors, the Punjab Government will be providing the rich culture and heritage of the state to big shot investors, who will take part in the Punjab Tourism Summit and Travel Mart that will start on Monday.
Also, at the International Border region, they will be shown the military traditions of ceremonies along with the natural exquisiteness in the Kandi hill regions and at the tri-junction of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, the islands in Pathankot.
The revitalization of the project for growing Musharba islands and Kalara in Ranjit Sagar dam which was put to one side for long is also on the cards.
The tourism minister while talking to The Tribune today, Anmol Gagan Maan, said that with the giants of hospitality like Club Mahindra, ITC, and Leela Group corroborating their attendance at the summit and the government providing them incentives to do business seamlessly, the minister was sure that the Pathankot tourism project would take off soon.
She also stated that on September 12 th , these hospitality industry captains will be taken to the Familiarization trip in Pathankot. Also, they show them other exotic places of natural beauty in and around Anandpur Sahib and Hoshiarpur, which can be made as sustainable tourism spots.
