The prestigious annual event dedicated to tourism professionals with a deep interest in Latin America, REMOTE Immersion Puyehue, has unveiled the details for its upcoming edition. Scheduled from October 14 to 17, this year’s gathering will take place in Puyeuhue, nestled in Chile’s scenic Lake District. It aims to bring together the world’s leading travel designers along with small, independent accommodations and destination management companies showcasing the pinnacle of sustainable luxury in the region.
Hosted by REMOTE Latin America, this marks the seventh year of REMOTE Immersion, an event celebrated for its unique blend of business networking, innovative presentations, and deep dives into the host location’s culture and natural beauty. This approach fosters learning, meaningful connections, and enduring partnerships within the tourism industry.
Another purpose of the REMOTE Immersion is to reveal new destinations, exploring paths yet to be traveled. “Puyehue fits perfectly with our goal of unveiling remote destinations, surrounded by pristine nature and traditional culture, and those that, above all, welcome us with open arms. We quickly realized that this hidden gem amid verdant landscapes, lakes and volcanoes would be ideal for our next REMOTE Immersion,” says Roberto Bitelman, director of REMOTE Latin America.

This year, REMOTE Immersion Puyehue promises an even more intimate experience, continuing its tradition of exploring unique Latin American locales, including previous destinations like the Brazilian Amazon and the Chilean Patagonia. Rudyard Ullrich Zulic from Sernatur Chile views hosting the event as a significant step in international promotion and positioning Puyehue as a leading destination for responsible tourism.
Situated in Osorno province within the Los Lagos region, Puyehue is a haven of pristine nature, featuring expansive Valdivian forests, lakes, and rivers teeming with native wildlife. The event promises a blend of networking, socializing, and engaging content amidst the tranquil beauty of Puyehue, appealing to those in search of natural wonders, adventure, delectable food, and moments of relaxation.
