Qatar Airways has achieved dual victories in the realm of Human Resources (HR) by clinching the prestigious “Brilliance Award for Employee Engagement” and the esteemed “Gold Award for Use of Technology in Internal Communications” at the 2024 International Brilliance Awards held in London.

The International Brilliance Awards, headquartered in the UK, serve as a platform to acknowledge businesses that demonstrate excellence in Internal Communications and Human Resources on a global scale. Each year, these awards spotlight organizations that excel in devising and executing innovative strategies in Internal Communications and HR. The evaluation process involves a panel of esteemed experts in the fields of internal communications and HR, drawn from leading global businesses such as Deloitte, Diageo, and LinkedIn.

Qatar Airways’ Employee Experience team, acclaimed for their exceptional contributions to employee engagement and communications, received well-deserved recognition. Furthermore, their dedication to cultivating an environment driven by innovation was duly acknowledged, cementing their reputation as pioneers in fostering a progressive workplace culture.

Additionally, throughout the year, the team organizes various CSR initiatives focused on environmental sustainability, autism awareness, mental health and wellness, as well as promoting sports and healthy lifestyles. These efforts also extend to providing relief funds and aid for individuals affected by natural disasters.

The Brilliance in Use of Technology in Internal Communications Award recognizes innovative strategies aimed at enhancing engagement, collaboration, and overall employee satisfaction. Qatar Airways, the recipient of this award, recently launched its mobile application, PeopleX, developed through a collaborative effort between the HR Employee Experience and IT teams. This app provides employees with a user-friendly digital platform offering convenient access to essential tools and resources. By receiving recognition in both innovation and engagement, Qatar Airways underscores its dedication to delivering top-notch HR initiatives and services to its workforce.
