Qatar tourism selects its new brand ambassador

The Tourism of Qatar is proud to proclaim Mutaz Barshim, Olympic and World champion as its recently selected brand ambassador.

Barshim set a world record only recently. He grabbed the award as the only high jump athlete to succeed five medals of the World Championship. He will be the new face for the Tourism campaigns of Qatar which would start from now and will continue till September 2024.

While commenting on the statement, the Head of Marketing and Planning at Qatar Tourism, Sheikha Hessa Al-Thani, said that the rising athletic endeavours of Mutaz Barshim reflects the essence of growing ambitions of Qatar globally. A name that reverberates with devotion, triumph, and the pursuit of enormity, this collaboration is made on their shared commitment and values. They are truly proud to have Barshim by their side as one of the brand ambassadors for Qatar Tourism. He is a true personification of the limitless potential of Qatar.

Mutaz Barshim, said in return that he is truly privileged and proud as well to be Qatar Tourism’s brand ambassador. His country has been helping him since day one. He also added that for him, this is an opportunity to show his gratitude and give back to his country.
