Qatar Tourism launches ‘Qatar Host’ tourism training programme

Qatar Tourism declared launching its ‘Qatar Host’ tourism training programme. This is the first online tourism training programme in Qatar, providing frontline professionals like hotel caretaker staff, mall safekeeping and restaurant waiters with applicable skills and information for delivering excellent services to international and domestic visitors.

Qatar Tourism, as part of its Service Excellence Academy, joined hands with a group of global industry specialists for coming up with the ‘Qatar Host’ tourism training programme for Qatar. It is an appealing online learning platform, offering users with the scope of learning as they like on any device. The platform exhibits how frontline staff – who involve with visitors – can better their visitor experience and surpass anticipations in every meeting.

This new enterprise is a part of the Service Excellence programme, which builds on Qatar Tourism’s plan to improve experiences of visitors in the course of their journey.

His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, the Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive said that they are happy to publicize the inauguration of the ‘Qatar Host’ training programme. The upgrading of the visitor experience is fundamental to Qatar’s tourism approach. It is an important constituent of the country’s financial expansion plan. This programme will assist in strengthening Qatar’s frontline professionals with the trappings and abilities required to deliver first-rate services and visitor experiences that make Qatar a desired country.
